Cute Little Capper

So one of my cute, talented friends contacted us, wondering if Sawyer
could be a model for some pilot caps that she makes and sells online.
I consulted Sawyer and he was more than willing to pose.
As you probably can tell from the last post, he's quite the little ham.

So here are the two caps that he modeled. . .

Really cute little caps.
Really cute little Capper.

The GQ Pose

Sawyer's newest thing is a move we like to call his "GQ Pose."
I think that this is just his pre sitting-up phase, but it's fun.
He looks like a little model.
Check these out. . .

And my personal favorite. . .

I think I'm going to have my hands full! :)

A Sequence of Smiles

The other night, someone must have slipped a happy pill into Sawyer's evening bottle because after he was finished drinking, he was in the happiest little mood. Usually he's a little tired and ready for bed but this night he was almost giddy--laughing and smiling away. We ended up letting him stay up a little later and laughed and smiled along with him for awhile. How could we not?

You're smiling right now aren't you?!

The Half-Birthday Boy!!

Today is a VERY SPECIAL day
because it is the half-birthday of a
VERY VERY SPECIAL boy!!
You guessed it . . . it's SAWYER BOY!
He's 6 months old!

Here is the (half) birthday boy in his birthday suit.

Sawyer at 6 months

Weight- 18lbs 4oz (68%)
Height- 27 in (74%)
Head Circumference- 45.2 cm (88%)

This month has been so much fun.
I feel like my baby boy changes every minute.

He started making a funny little face
where he would suck on his bottom lip.

Then he decided that his tongue was more fun!

That led to the blowing of raspberries.

He's also been very talkative lately.

He's been enjoying this whole "eating big boy food" thing.
He eats rice cereal every morning for breakfast
and he's had some interesting lunches too.

Like Butternut Squash

and Peas.

He liked the peas a lot more than Momma did.

He has been a little mover lately.
Good bye to the days when we could put him on a blanket
and expect him to stay there.
He's not officially crawling but we're prepared.
We know he's close!

Speaking of putting him on a blanket--he started something new.
When placed on a blanket, he will grab an end and roll,
pulling the blanket with him.
He ends up looking like a little burrito!

Can you say trouble?

He is loving Tuya like crazy and always wanting her near him.
Even though he tugs her ears and pokes her eyes,
she seems to feel the same way.
Best buds.

He loves having boy time with Daddy.

And getting loved on by Daddy too.

He loves hanging out with Momma.

And loves to love Momma.
(Even though she's pretty sure she loves him more!)

He's spent a large majority of this month
melting the hearts of family, friends, and every passerby,
with his. . .

Beauty (there's no other word for it) . . .

. . . his pleasant demeanor. . .

. . . and his super contagious SMILES! :)

A big thank you to all who came to celebrate Sawyer's half birthday.
Oh, and Sawyer feels terrible about sleeping the ENTIRE party!

And an even bigger thank you to Sawyer
for making these past 6 months
some of the happiest months we've ever had.
We love you so so so so so so much!!!!!!
