On March 3, my Sawyer Boy turned two and a half!
I'm not quite sure how that happened!
Since he refuses to stop growing and changing (little stinker)
I am going to attempt to write down some fun facts about him.
He is Freakishly Handsome!

He is so smart!
He can sing the alphabet song and knows a lot of the letters.
He will tell you that S is for Sawyer.
If you ask him how to spell his name, he will tell you, "S A W Y E R!"
If you ask him how old he is, he will say, "two years old."
He knows his numbers and can count to 12. (We've been studying the clock)
In only five minutes alone with my iphone, he managed to figure out how to send Lance a text and take a picture of Tuya.
He speaks so well that I don't feel like I'm missing adult conversation.
He does say some Sawyer-isms like, "Shall we. . .?" i.e. "Shall we play in the room?" "Shall we go on a walk?" (We read scriptures everyday. I think that's where he gets it.)
Another Sawyer-ism is instead of saying "me" he says, "you." i.e. "Momma play with you?"
He knows his colors. His favorite is blue. But he'll tell you that Mommy's is pink and Daddy's is green.
He is very good about saying "Please" "Thank you" and "Sorry"
Because he is 2 and a half, he spends his fair share of time in "Time Out." This consists of him being forced to sit in a chair in the corner of the room. Every time we put him in Time Out we ask him, "Sawyer, why are you in Time Out?" Once he tells us, he has to say sorry, and then he's allowed to get off. Well he figured out this pattern rather quickly and now every time we put him in time out, he asks immediately, "Why are you in time out?"
He is such a Clown.

He is a jokester and constantly makes me laugh, even when I'm frustrated.
i.e. Momma- "Sawyer this is ridiculous. You are making a mess and eating like a pig."
Sawyer- (with a smile) Oink!
He Loves to Eat

If he could choose our menu. . .
Breakfast: Waffles or Pancakes, Fruity O's and Orange Juice
Lunch: PB and Jam Sandwich, String Cheese, Yogurt, and an orange
Dinner: Meatloaf, Macaroni and Cheese, and Broccoli
Dessert: Cookies (any kind of cookie) or chocolate
He is ALL BOY!

He loves to be outside. He loves to get dirty. He loves bugs and isn't scared of animals. He loves cars, trains, buses, firetrucks (anything that moves). He is very physical-with himself and others.
He's Sensitive
Although he's pretty tough, our little man has a soft side. If he sees someone crying, he immediately tries to give them a hug. If he hurts someone, he feels terrible and says sorry and tries to give them a hug. He even gets in moods where he wants to sit alone with Momma and snuggle. I'm LOVING that!
He LOVES to Sing and Dance
in his underpants!

He can sing in tune (most of the time) all the words to A LOT of songs! Some include, "I Am a Child of God", "I Love to See the Temple," "Scripture Power," and "I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."
As a matter of fact, during one our trips to Walmart, he repeatedly sang (at the top of his lungs) "I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."
He also loves to sing and dance to the Sesame Street theme song. He gets to watch Sesame Street every day when I feed his brother and he Loves it! Although he seems to enjoy all of the characters (besides Snuffy) his favorite is definitely Ernie. He loves to watch and sing along with a segment they do every episode called "Journey to Ernie" where Ernie hides and Big Bird has to find him.
Because of his love of music he loves family night! This is probably because he gets to sing and dance to our family night song, "Welcome" by Phil Collins.
He Loves His Family!
He loves being a big brother and asks
to see "Baby Wooben" first thing every morning.

He even thinks his parents are pretty cool. Ex 1- Momma- "Daddy will be home soon!"
Sawyer- "He's a nice guy."
Ex. 2- Momma- "Jesus loves you Sawyer. He loves everyone."
Sawyer- "He loves Mommy most."
Sometimes, I wish I could freeze time
so this face would stay like this forever!
We love you Sawyer Boy!
We love you So So So So much!
