The day started out with our annual 4th of July Breakfast.

We usually do waffles with vanilla ice-cream, blueberries and strawberries, 

but since we didn't have strawberries, we made our waffles red. 

We went to my Marm's to celebrate the holiday and drop off Tuya 

before Lance went to Del Mar, CA (our honeymoon) 

for his Surgery Course (Boo Hiss) and I headed to the beach 

with my Dad's side of the Family. 

We were so tired that we just lounged around the living room 

while Sawyer took his nap. Well Lance lounged...

I asked him to smile. This is what I got.

While he lounged, I took pictures.

Then Sawyer woke up!

(I can't get over how tired Lance and I look)

So we headed to the Bordner's pool.

Very surprisingly, Sawyer is very cautious around water. 

Sawyer and Cautious. That's like an oxymoron!

Anyway, he loves the water, but prefers to stay on the step. 

Reuben was excited to give it a try. 

So his cute dad took him in.

Reu loved the water and was swimming around like a little fish!

Sawyer was super excited to have his little brother in the pool!

He sure knows how to make his baby brother smile!

In my opinion, this little firecracker is getting too big!

You know you're having fun when you want to keep 

swimming even when your lips are blue.

6 Months Old!

Yes. My Baby is 6 Months Old Today!

Oh, myocardial infarction!

How can this be?!

Stats:

Weight: 16lbs .8oz (22nd%)
Height: 26 1/2 in. (43rd%)
HC: 17 1/4 in. (61st%)

Yes. If you look at his 4 month stats it would appear
as if our child has barely grown in 2 months.
Don't worry, I've finished having my panic attack about this.
We'll see what solid foods do to him.

Somebody likes his rice cereal!




He was still sleeping wonderfully this month.
He sleeps 8-9 hours at night and takes at least 3 naps during the day.

What else is new?

His eyes are the coolest color.
 They are soo dark but they have brown and blue in them.
Because they are so dark we assumed they would be brown,
but they still have a lot of blue in them.
Here is the best picture I have of them in the light.




He still chews on everything and drools like crazy!



He is so strong. He has an ironclad grip
and his little arms are always doing push-ups.



He still does the "skydiver."



And he loves to smack his hands.
Together, on the ground, on my face...
you get the idea.



Despite this obvious hazard, Sawyer will lie in front of him
allowing Reuben to smack him right in the face.
 He then will quickly say, "We don't hit baby Wooben!"

Speaking of Sawyer, he is an amazing big brother.
He always wants to be near him.
