Bye Buddy

(From Sawyer's point of view)

For the past 5 months or so my Momma
has been tending my best buddy, Atley.

Now that summer's here, Atley will be spending more time
with his Momma and won't be coming to our house anymore.
I'm so sad. We were tight buds!

We would go on stroller rides together

We would make each other laugh

And among many other things,
we would enjoy each others company.

Momma and us boys!

We will all miss you Atley.
Bye bye for now buddy!

Father's Day

Today was my husband's First Father's Day as a father.
And what a wonderful father he is.
Check out these two looking snazzy on Daddy's day!

How blessed I am to be married to such a wonderful father
who loves our wonderful son just as much as me!

And a quick thank you to our father's who have taught us so much
and have played such important roles in our lives.
We wouldn't be who we are today without you.
We love you so much. Happy Father's Day!

9 Months Old!

Weight- 20lb 8oz (50%)
Height- 29 1/2 " (90%)
Head Circumference- 47.1cm (90%)

Seeing as Sawyer is 9 months now (no idea where that time went),
I thought it was pretty ironic that the pictures that I wanted to post
fit well into 9 categories.

1. Trouble

He has been full of mischief this month. Taking the covers
off of the electrical outlets, attacking the plants,
trying to climb on, off, in and out of things,
opening cupboards, banging his head on things,
and basically getting into everything.

I feel like he has a new bruise everyday.
And what's worse, I rarely know what they're from.
He bonks himself a lot, but he hardly ever cries.
Check out his little bruised cheek. Poor little guy!

Clambering around under the table

Climbing up the stairs

Climbing on Momma(one of his favorite things to do)

And trying to escape his playpen

Have you ever seen a face that screamed trouble more than this?

Okay, maybe this one!

2. Chewing+ Drool+Fussiness=New Tooth

A big warm welcome to Sawyer's top right tooth!

3. New Foods

He's also had baby food versions of pineapple

and blueberries.

4. Stroller Time

Sawyer's spent a lot of time in the stroller this month.
The weather has been wonderful
so this stroller's wheels have been a turnin'.

5.Blue Eyes
(No explanation needed)

6. Funny

Sawyer is quite the little character!

All month he has been pulling this funny face.
I have only captured it twice because he pulls it

at the most random times and only for a fleeting second.

What a little ham!

7. Adorable
(Also, no explanation needed)

8. Tuya Time

Sawyer Loves Tuya!
I think that these three photos give you a
good idea of how much he loves her.

And how patient of a pup she is.

9. Daddy Time

Like Father like Son--Sawyer loves basketball.
(No, I did not really
let him watch the game)

Another thing that Daddy and Sawyer
do together
is play with Sawyer's hair.
Daddy likes to give him weird hairdo's.

Don't believe me?

Here is the slicked back look

The towel head look

The spiked look
(I prefer this one)

And Lance's personal favorite,
The "put your finger in an electrical outlet" look

But man are those two cute together!

I am one lucky lady!

Lucky, indeed!
