Christmas Festivities

December 30, 2012
My Little Santa
has been nice this year!

HO HO HO!

Just to make sure he's been good...
Meet Tad! (Named by Sawyer)

This was Sawyer's favorite Christmas movie this year!
He especially loved to sing and dance
to the song "Extravaganzalorias!"

Uncle Jonny's Visit
helped kick off our Christmas Celebrations
(November 30 - December 3)

We went to see Santa after we picked up Jonny
at PSUCOM in Hershey after his Med School interview.

We chopped down our Christmas Tree.
(Well more like sawed down)

Jonny found the perfect tree!

And Lance got to work sawing it down.

He had a helper!

Reu-dolph!
Get it? Red nose?

We went on a Christmas Train with Uncle Jonny
and Grandma and Grandma Martin

Then Santa walked through our car!

Sawyer was excited!
Can you tell?

Reuben, however, wasn't as impressed!

However, he didn't mind Rudolph.

Or the Grinch.

Or Frosty the Snowman.

Sawyer loved them all!
(I love my Marm's face in this picture)

That night we decorated our tree.

Our Little Family had our own little Christmas.
(December 14th-15th)

The stockings were hung on the curtains
(and door) with care.

The next morning.

I think Sawyer was most excited about the big
Hershey's Kiss Santa brought him!

Tuya got her stocking presents and a new bed.

She looks cute on her new bed!

My presents always have the most fun things written on them!
My "Santa" is so creative...and cute!!

Sawyer had asked Santa for SNOW!
Which is great unless it doesn't snow.
So "Santa" brought him this!

So we made some snow to play with.

S is for Snow and Sawyer!

I sang in church the following day
so our friends from Hershey came up to visit.

We sure love the Clements!

They are a lot of fun!
(I love that even Reu is making a silly face)

We spent the remainder of the month celebrating in Utah.
(December 19th-29th)

We got to visit Santa again!
This was my favorite Santa ever!

He must be the real one! :)

We got a ginormous Christmas Tree!

It kind of reminded me of a Dr. Seuss book because
it was tall, skinny and tilted a little to the right.

We made Wood Family Christmas cookies.

Uncle Sean helped Sawyer make his very own cookie.

He was pretty pleased.

Until he took a bite.
I think the anise in the frosting is an acquired taste.

But Daddy sure likes them!

Sawyer became obsessed with the the song
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
(He knows every word) and got to
perform it at the Egbert Family Christmas Party.

We got to visit our friends the Cutlers and their cute little gals!
(Sadly, the picture of Tarina and I didn't come out)

We ate at yummy places like Cafe Rio, The Mandarin,
and our favorite, The Old Spaghetti Factory.

We went Downtown.

And went to Temple Square to see the Salt Lake Temple.

The boys had fun taking tubby's together!

And Daddy was there almost every night to help me!

It was great!

Sawyer got to Build a Bear (Husky) with Grandma.

And got to read The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
with Grandpa. Over and over and over...

Gotta love Grandparents!
Doug and Cary with their 3 Grandkids.
(Porter, Sawyer, and Reuben)

It was so fun just to be able to spend time
with family that we rarely see.

Christmas Morning came.

And we got lots of fun presents.

And Sawyer got his wish!

He got to play in the REAL snow!

Lance and I snuck away on our 9 Year anniversary!
after we put our boys to bed so we could go to the temple.

I love him so much!

Hope you had a Merry Christmas!
Have a Happy New Year!
