Momma's Valentines!
This Valentine's Day was amazingly SWEET!
Lance and I never do Valentine's Day Presents
for the following 2 reasons. . .
1. We celebrate our love everyday and don't need a special day.
2. We started medical school 6 months after we got married.
Budget anyone?
With that being said, Lance came home at lunch
holding a heart shaped balloon just for me!
Unfortunately, Sawyer stole my balloon almost immediately and
began playing with Tuya who thought she was supposed to dispose of it.
At least I got a picture before it went the way of all the earth, right?!

Then later that day, I found a box outside of the door.
This is what was inside of the box.
And my favorite treats ever were inside of that little box!
And this darling message was inside that little card.
OK. LOVE HIM!!
Yes. I have the SWEETEST Valentines EVER!
Happy Valentine's Day to my Valentines!
I love you so much!!!

One Month with Reuben!
A month has gone by since Baby Reuben joined our family.
And what a magically wonderful, exhausting month it has been! :)
Much like his elder brother, he keeps changing so dramatically,
even though I wish for him to slow down daily.

His first week was filled with a lot of sleep (for him), a little bit of crying,
a lot of eating (for both of us), and hundreds of newborn sized diapers! :)

He is such a sweet, pleasant little guy.

And he smiles to himself all the time.

The second week was filled with many of the same activities.
There were still a lot of diapers--although we moved to size 1!
He ate a lot; he was already back to his birth
weight by the end of the first week.
And of course he was still getting a lot of Zzzzzzz.

He did have his first sponge bath the beginning of the week.

The third week was a lot of fun!
Although he still did his fair share of napping, he was awake more.

Because of gas, he loved being on his belly.

And he even started lifting his head up pretty high.

He finally lost his umbilical cord.

Which meant he could have his first tubby!
He was pretty calm and seemed to enjoy it!

Sawyer was so excited to help!
Can you tell? :)

As a side note. . .
When Reuben's hair is dry, it is spiky and sticks straight up.
However, when it gets wet, it turns into tight curls. So odd!

Odd, but cute!

Daddy thinks so too!

The end of the month brought more amazing memories!
He still spent a lot of time sleeping.

But he was awake a lot more.

He still loved that tummy time!

And his personality started to shine through.

He really liked getting his tubby's.

And he enjoyed/slept peacefully during his first walk.

His cheeks got chubbier.
And he's more lovable than ever!
None of us can get enough of him!
His doggie loves him!

His Big Brother loves him!
His Daddy loves him!
And of course, his Momma loves him!
