Every year for Valentine's Day I get each boy a book.

This year Sawyer got a book, a train and a treat! Lucky!

Reuben loved his book. 

He kissed the teddy on the front. 

And started "reading it" right away!

Momma's Valentines!

This Valentine's Day was amazingly SWEET!

Lance and I never do Valentine's Day Presents
for the following 2 reasons. . .

1. We celebrate our love everyday and don't need a special day.
2. We started medical school 6 months after we got married.
Budget anyone?

With that being said, Lance came home at lunch
holding a heart shaped balloon just for me!
Unfortunately, Sawyer stole my balloon almost immediately and
began playing with Tuya who thought she was supposed to dispose of it.
At least I got a picture before it went the way of all the earth, right?!


Then later that day, I found a box outside of the door.
This is what was inside of the box.


And my favorite treats ever were inside of that little box!


And this darling message was inside that little card.


OK. LOVE HIM!!

Lots of Love

There's been lots of love floating round our house lately--lots of love for Momma, Daddy, Sawyer and Tuya. I repeat. . . lots of love for Tuya! These two have been inseparable since Lance and I got back from Hawaii.

Yep. Lots of love.
And Tuya reminds me daily just how patient love can be!

The Day of Love

Here we are celebrating Valentine's Day.
We went on Thursday to avoid the crowds.
We ate at the Tokyo Diner.
I LOVE Japanese Food!
But not as much as I LOVE my hot date
or as much as I LOVE his cute side-kick in the car seat.
