Big Boy Bike

September 9, 2014

Guess who just hopped on his big boy bike
(without ever using training wheels) and took off?!

Thank you balance bike!

10 Months Old

September 8, 2014

This month we started feeding him finger foods.

Like Cheerios

And Bananas

He really likes bananas!

Speaking of eating, he had a lot of
teeth come in this month.

Three on the top

And Two on the Bottom

He started the month with a pretty gummy smile.

And ended the month with a toothy grin
that could melt the coldest heart!

Growing teeth kinda messed with his sleeping,
but I figure I have the rest of my life to sleep.  :)

Besides, even when you're tired,
it's not hard to love on this guy!

Just ask Brother Sawyer.
He can't get enough of this baby!

He reminds me of Sawyer when he was this age.
He's a little more feisty than Reuben was.
He'll start heading in a certain direction toward
something he knows he's not supposed to do.
Then he'll look back and give me the look that tells
me he knows it. :) S used to give me that same look.
This was the closest pic I have to that face.

I am totally smitten with this boy

I pretty much want to eat his little face every day!

I wish I could just keep him like this forever.

OBX 2014

September 7, 2014

We headed to the Outer Banks,
but made a few stops on the way.

Hershey Pantry

DC Zoo

Richmond VA to see the Campbells

Yummy BBQ place just outside of the Outer Banks

And then we got to the beach house.
We love the beach!

We love the Pool

We celebrated Sawyer's 5TH BIRTHDAY!!!!!

We went to the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center

And to our Magical Christmas Store

Lance and I even went on a dinner date.

We all had so much fun...

At the Beach house!

We started driving home on a Sunday and decided
last minute that we wanted to stop and go to church.
This is me foraging around for suitable clothes
for us in the church parking lot.

Then we stayed overnight with Jonny
and Emery in Richmond.

It was a great end to a great vacation!
