OBX Trip

September 1st-8th

We love the beach!

The beach is so relaxing!

We even like it at night. 

We also love the pool!

It takes Sawyer a little while, 

but slowly he warms up to the water.

Reu is our water baby!

Unlike his big brother, he was fearless

 when it came to the water and never wanted

 to get out unless we bribed him with watermelon.

He would swim until his lips turned blue.

We also love the Oregon Fishing Inlet. 

We saw a few big fish.

One of the fisherman even helped Sawyer to catch a fish. 

He put this picture of he and Sawyer on his professional blog, 

so basically Sawyer is a famous fisherman now. 

We loved eating at the Lone Cedar Restaurant

The food was great!

And they had an Osprey nest 

 in the water outside the restaurant.

We were lucky enough to have some fun visitors this year. 

Like Uncle Alan and Aunt Jan.

And Jonny and Emery. 

We're excited to add another little sand crab next year!

We threw a banana bean bag into George's mouth.

We made banana cheerios vine necklaces.

Good Morning 4 Year-Old!

We went to Duck Donuts for breakfast!

Guess which one was Sawyer's.

Then we had a fun day at the beach and pool 

and relaxed at the beach house for a bit. 

Then somebody had some presents to open.

That night we had some ice cream cake.

I love this little man so so so so much!

We all do!

Hibachi Surprise!

Tonight Amanda and Natalie and I drove to Kristie's 

house to surprise her for a bachelorette party. 

Since she's not a wild gal by any means and the person 

coordinating this event was a pregnant Mormon (me) 

we took her to a Japanese Hibachi restaurant instead of a bar. 

 Since she loves Japanese and she loves us she loved it!

It was fun to surprise her at her house!

We made her wear a tiara and a Bachelorette Banner. 

And had a great time together eating great food!
