One Year Older. . .

. . . and wiser too??
Not sure about that! :)

Well my birthday started a day early this year since my sweet hubby
(and our friends Scott and Ashley)
surprised me and took me to dinner at a beautiful
(and in my opinion, fancy)
restaurant called Harvest, located at the Hotel Hershey.
The food was excellent and the company was even better!

The people there even made me a fancy birthday treat!

Saturday (my actual birthday) was great!
My two favorite boys took me to brunch at the Hershey Pantry.

Then my Marm, and Kris and I went for pedicures.
This was my 3rd and favorite one I've ever had.
I'm the one with the freakishly long toes!

When we got back from our pampering
I found that my house had been attacked
by our tight buds, the Clements.
Nothing like balloons and a banner to get you in the birthday spirit!
Thanks guys!

After spending some quality time with my two year old pup. . .

. . . we headed to the Texas Roadhouse for some dinner.
My stomach was so spoiled this weekend!!

I guess turning one year older isn't so bad!

Happy Birthday Tuya!!

Our sweet Tuya turned 2 years old today!!

She really enjoyed eating her doggy ice cream!
(Lexia helped her blow out the candles)

And she really liked her bone.

And she really liked her plastic hippo.
(Let's just say this hippo had quite the short life span)

Overall, it was a fun little puppy party!
(A big thanks to Tom and Lexia for coming to play!)

Happy Birthday Tuya Poochini Arbutus Wood!!!
We love you!!!

Easter Outfit

We know that Easter is a celebration of the Savior's Resurrection.
We treasure this holiday and more importantly
the true reason for the Holiday.
We love our Savior.

With that being said,
it was kind of fun to get Sawyer dressed up to celebrate.

Here is Sawyer's First Easter Outfit.

7 Months Old

Our young one is 7 months old today!
As always, this month has gone by way too fast!

This picture illustrates two things.
1. He is getting so tall!
2. He loves to grab at the blinds.
It makes diaper changing somewhat challenging.

So much has happened this month. I feel like he changes everyday.

First of all. . . wait for it. . .

He's on the move!!
Not crawling in the conventional way. No way.
He army crawls around the house like he's on a secret mission.
A little hard to get a picture of that but try to picture it.
Oh, so cute!

However, having a mobile child has some drawbacks.
He ignores the toys that I put on the floor and passes them on his way to. . .
wires, movies, curtains, and more times than not, Tuya. Poor pup.

Would you like to see the close-up?

What's worse than the vicious hugs, you ask?
I think that tail pulling wins.

Through it all, they still are like two peas in a pod.

He loves her.

And she loves him.

He's also expanded his palate a little more this month.
He's had. . .

Sweet Potatoes

He really liked those!

Green Beans

Carrots
(These made him get diaper rash for the first time)

and Applesauce.
He was so excited to get his first fruit!

We have no idea where these teeth are,
but he is chewing on everything!

He's become quite flexible.
He actually propped his bottle in his mouth with his feet.
Oh so funny!

But not quite as funny as his new funny face.
He just started this.
I secretly ( guess it's not a secret now) hope that it sticks around.

He loves reading books.

And he's spent a lot of time in his stroller this month.

We did have one cold come attacking this month.
This is quite the yucky picture!

But we also had way more smiles to make up for it.

And just as every month before,
he is still amazingly adorable!

How could a Daddy not be crazy about such a baby?

Oh wait, He is!

And so is his Momma!

Yes. This Momma is truly blessed!
