Christmas Fun!

December 26, 2013

It was a great Christmas season.

We made fun Christmasy crafts!

Made a Christmas Cake Train.

Made Gingerbread Houses

And made lots of Christmas Cookies
(Sand tart cookies, Kissy cookies, and Wood family cookies)

Sawyer LOVED playing in the flour when we made cookies!

We were happy to welcome our elf Tad
 back to the Wood home.

We read a lot of Christmas books.
Some of our favorites being...
"If you Take a Mouse to the Movies",
"Claude the Dog", The Christmas Pageant",
and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".

We had fun singing Christmas Carols while
Daddy played them on our new piano.

We went looking for a Christmas Tree.

And we had a lot of fun decorating said tree.

And went to see Santa!
(Although I wouldn't let his germ-covered
gloves touch my 6 week old)

Christmas Eve we went to my Nana's for a little.
We snapped this gem while Nana wasn't looking.

Then came home and spent Christmas Eve
in our own home for the first time! It was wonderful!

Christmas Morning!

Ah, the magic of Christmas!

They were pretty excited about the
Thomas Playzone Santa brought them!

Reuben played with that for a bit...

While Sawyer and Dad set up the
new Rudolph wooden train set from Mom and Dad.

I think Quincy enjoyed the day as well.

The boys snuggled up and watched Rudolph.
(Apparently it is a very serious movie)

And the princess enjoyed her new bed.

Yes, it was a magical Merry Christmas!
