Lance is a ward clerk at church these days.
That means that this momma is on her own before
and after church with these darling bundles of boyish energy.
Some Sundays are more challenging than others.
This past one was a challenging one.
But we made it through!
And I know our family is blessed
to have a Daddy that serves the Lord.

Welcome 31
April 27, 2013
My birthday this year was great!
I got to go on a date with the most gorgeous guy ever!
He took me to a nice restaurant and had a dozen roses
waiting there on the table for me.
It was wonderful and super romantic.
I'm pretty crazy about this guy!
And I came home to snuggle two more
handsome boys that I'm pretty crazy about.
Then we went out to dinner at BJ's tonight with my Marm, Mike,
Kris, Brent, Nana, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Donny, Kyla and Paige.
The waitress brought an ice cream treat and a different
waitress pointed a camera at me and took a picture.
That's why I have the fakest smile ever.
Here's a picture of my leftover cake since we forgot
to take a picture of the actual cake Lance got me.
I love his creative 31!
I think 31 is going to be a magical year!

Did you know...
July 18, 2012
...that a 5 hour drive can turn into an 8 hour drive
(when you are alone with 2 little boys ages 2 1/2 and 6 months)?
I do now.
Thank goodness for Freddy Hill Farms in Lansdale, PA
for having cheap hotdogs, tasty ice cream, a comfortable bench
for me to nurse my baby, and a little animal farm for my 2 year-old
to run around and safely get out some of his endless energy.
Sawyer kept going back and talking to the little white rooster.
He talked about this little rooster for about a week after the trip.
I was so blessed to happen upon this perfect place for us to stop.
I really would like to go back someday. (With my husband)
I would also like to express my love and admiration for the
individual who invented the Ergo baby carrier.
And a huge thanks to the creative person who made little family bathrooms
on the turnpike that have tiny little toilets in them that can cause
people who have been in the car all day to break into fits of
hysterical laughter when they see them.
And one more thank you to the person who made my most
wonderful pillow that felt especially good under my tired head that night.
